Assembly secretariat seeks his commen

Srinagar, July 17 :

The Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly Secretariat has sought comments from the Deputy Chief Minister over an alleged breach of privilege filed by MLA Ranbir Singh Pathania.

In a notice, a copy of which is in possession of news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the Assembly Secretariat has written to officer on special duty to the Deputy CM to furnish his comments over the matter within seven days.

The matter was placed before the Speaker who directed that the Dy CM’s response be obtained in the first instance.

Pathania had filed a breach of privilege notice against the Deputy CM, alleging that the latter’s actions resulted in his exclusion from official programmes and functions held in his constituency.—(KNO)
