Today on 2nd of December, 2021 admission mela was held in BHSS Uri to start admission drive for the session 2021-22.The students mainly from adjoining private schools took part in this mela. The principal Mr Mushtaq Sopori along with all staff members of the institution on the occasion greeted the students with warm welcome and on spot admission was done for the students of 9th and 10th classes.
Apart from this provisional admission for the students of class 11th and 12th was also done. Counselling cell has already been constituted in the institution through which the students have taken necessary guidelines in taking the subjects/ streams in 11th class. Some staff members addressed the students through which they made awearness regarding the facilities provided in the GOVT institution.
On the occasion the prominent civil society members were also present who encouraged the students and their parents for on spot admission. The Principal, Mr Mushtaq Sopori was himself on forefront in the drive and advised the students and their parents that they should not waste their precious time, the classes are going on in the institution and they should attend their classes regularly. The parents, Civil society members and the students hailed this step taken by the Principal of BHSS Uri .
