Security, Law and Order, Development and Assembly Matters Discussed
NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 26 :
Leader of Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Sunil Sharma, called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in New Delhi and discussed a range of issues concerning Jammu and Kashmir.
According to details available with news agency KNC, the meeting focused on several important matters, including the security situation, law and order, development-related concerns and issues connected with the ongoing Assembly session.
During the interaction, Sharma apprised the Union Home Minister of various matters concerning the people of Jammu and Kashmir and discussed the need for continued attention towards development and public concerns.
Sharma said that Amit Shah reiterated the Union Government’s commitment to peace, development and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.
He further stated that the Union Home Minister assured all possible support and cooperation in addressing issues of importance to the people of the Union Territory.
The meeting assumes significance as the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly is currently in session, with several issues concerning governance, development and public welfare being taken up for discussion. (KNC)
