Eminent Islamic scholar Mufti Muneer Hussain of Thanamandi in Rajouri district passed away on Monday at the age of 85.
As per report his wife had passed away yesterday and her Nimaz-e-Janaza was offered today, while Mufti Muneer Hussain passed away today. His son had also passed away several days ago.
His Nimaz-e-Janaza will be offered tomorrow at 2:30 PM.
Mufti Muneer Hussain was a highly respected religious figure in the Pir Panjal region, known for his scholarly contributions and religious services.
A pall of gloom descended over Thanamandi and adjoining areas following the news of his demise.
