Srinagar, Oct 26 :

Ahead of the cabinet reshuffle, all ministers in the National Conference-led government have submitted their resignations to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, sources disclosed.

Sources confirmed to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that all five ministers have submitted their resignation letters to the Chief Minister.

“The ministers have submitted their resignation. It is now upto the CM whether to retain them or forward their resignation to Lok Bhavan,” sources said.

Sources clarified that submission of resignation does not mean that the ministers will not be retained.

“The CM will decide whose resignation will be forwarded to Lok Bhavan and who will be retained,” they said.

According to sources, 3-4 legislators are likely to be sworn in as ministers on Tuesday morning at Lok Bhavan, Srinagar.

“There is a possibility that at the most one minister could be dropped,” they said—(KNO)
