Baramulla, Dec 27: Two technicians suffered burn injuries after Oxygen Plant panel developed snag and burst accidentally at Government Medical College Baramulla on Monday morning, officials said. The Oxygen panel developed snag after short circuit resulting into of leakage of gas at Oxygen Plant of the hospital.
Confirming the incident Principal GMC Dr Ruby Reshi said,” I am enquiring the details, primary information says that a panel in oxygen plant developed some technical snag and it has bursted.”
“Two techcians have superficial burn injuries and nothing vary serious,” he added.
He identified the victims as Asif Ashraf of Delina Baramulla and Saleem Nabi of Kanli Bagh Baramulla.Both the technicians were shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for treatment.
