Jammu & Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers’ Forum Hails CEO Baramulla for Fulfilling Promise; 742 Promotions Issued

Baramulla, November 18, 2025 – The Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers’ Forum (JKRETTF), Baramulla, extends its warmest appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Baramulla, Mr. Altaf Hussain Tarra, for his decisive leadership in issuing 742 Time-Bound Promotion (TBP) orders for the teaching and non-teaching staff of the district.
This landmark achievement comes just weeks after a high-level delegation from JKRETTF, led by District President senior leaders including senior Vice President UT Rahi Irshad, District General Secretary Reyaz Ahmad Ganai, District Apex Members, District Organiser Mustafa Wazir,District Finance Secretary Showkat Ahmad Wani, Zonal President Rohama Mohammad Amin, Zonal President Sopore Showkat Ahmad Dar, ZP Pattanb Zia- ud-din, ZP Singapore Pattan besides other Zonal Presidents,senior members and Zonal Executives,
met with the CEO Baramaulla and raised serious concerns over the prolonged delay in these promotions. At that meeting, CEO Baramulla assured the forum that over 700 pending files would be cleared within a week—a promise he has commendably fulfilled.
In a statement, District President Mohammed Yaqoob Bhat and District General Secretary Reyaz Ahmad Ganai lauded the proactive and empathetic approach of CEO Baramaulla Mr. Altaf Hussain Tarra and his dedicated team. They noted that despite assuming office only a month ago, he prioritized this critical issue, demonstrating exceptional administrative efficiency and a deep commitment to employee welfare.
The forum specifically acknowledges the relentless efforts of Mr. Iftikhar Bashir (Deputy CEO), Mr. Tariq Ahmad (DEPO), Mr. Mohammad Ramzan Mir (Section Officer), Mr.Javid Ahmad Radoo (Head Assistant) -and Dealing Assistant In-situ Mr. Nasrullah,
