BARAMULLA JUNE 10 :
On 08/06/2021, one Nazir Ahmad Dar S/O Ghulam Mode Dar R/O Rengi Pattan lodged a written Complaint with Police Station Uri stating therein that his daughter (name withheld) aged about 15 years has been kidnapped by one Sajad Ahmad Wani S/O Abdullah Wani R/O Zandfaran Sheeri, District Baramulla. In this regard, case FIR NO. 164/ 2021 u/s 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Uri.
On this information, Police Station Pattan swung into action and recovered the abductee within 12 hours from Zandfaran Forests area of Sheeri District Baramulla and the accused has also been arrested from the spot. After completing the legal formalities, the abductee was handed over to her legal heirs. Investigation of the case is going on.
