National Conference (NC) President and Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah on Tuesday paid glowing tributes to Aga Syed Yousuf Al Safvi Al Moosvi on his 39th death anniversary.

An erudite personality, a polymath Marhoom Aga Sahib is remembered for his scholarly endowments, Party President and vice President said as per a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) while paying tributes to a noted Islamic scholar and luminary.

The duo said the contribution of late Aga Sahib in acquainting masses with various streams of Islamic knowledge is unparalleled. They said that Aga Syed Yousuf was an epitome of piousness, devoutness and faith. The duo while paying tributes to the great Islamic Scholar, prayed to Almighty to elevate his stations in Jannat.

Among others General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, Party’s Additional General secretary Dr Sheikh Mustufa Kamal, Party’s Members of Parliament Muhammad Akbar Lone and Hasnain Masoodi; Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Party’s senior leader Abdul Rahim Rather, Central Zone President Ali Muhammad Dar, District President Abdul Ahad Dar, Political Secretary to party’s vice President Tanveer Sadiq, Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, YNC Provincial President (K) Salman Ali Sagar, Provincial Secretary Showkat Ahmed Mir, Ahsan Pardesi, Dr Muhammad Shafi also paid glowing tributes to Aga Syed Moosvi Al Safvi. The functionaries also extolled the role of Aga family towards the socio-political emancipation of people of Jammu and Kashmir—(KNO)
