Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of north wing on Thursday organised a Vigilance Awareness Programme at Govt Polytechnic College at Kanispora area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
ACB said that they conducted an awareness programme among the students of Govt College of Polytechnic Baramulla where a huge gathering of students and faculty members were present who debated and deliberated on the topic of corruption, its causes and the remedies.
Among the participants, Principal Govt Polytechnic College Imtiyaz Ahmad Shah and students Sumeera Hassan, Huzaifa Mohiuddin, Muskan Hassan and Suhail Ahamd Dar spoke on the menaces of corruption and its remedies.
The Chief Prosecuting Officer of ACB north wing made them aware about the areas of corruption and its control. He further stressed about the corruption and the role of People in coming forward to stop corruption and make the society as corruption free society.He also provided the contact numbers and other communication tools to the students and other faculty members, reads a statement issued to the SNS KASHMIR.
On the occasion, a pledge of integrity was administered to all participants. Lastly, Principal Govt Polytechnic College Baramulla made a vote of thanks for the ACB team for their presence and making them aware about the parameters of corruption and its eradication from the society.
