Anti Corruption Foundation of India (ACFI), an NGO on Saturday felicitated Journalist Zaffer Iqbal with “Pride of India Award”.
A Certificate of appreciation was presented to Zaffer Iqbal at officer club Uri by the SDPO Uri Junaid Wali and ACFI UT Director, Jammu and Kashmir Sarwar Ahmed for his Outstanding work in field of Journalism.
Iqbal is working for Shahrebeen (AIR) GNS News wire, and Kashmir Uzma from Uri , Baramulla.
Iqbal has done better reporting during the Indo-Pak shelling in the border town of Uri.He seveal times highlited for the construction of underground bunker for the people affected by the Indo-Pak shelling in villages on the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri. Iqbal is better highligting the problems of the people on the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri.
