Baramulla, November 26:

On the directions of LG Adminstration UT J&K, for making the existing grievance redress mechanism more effective and satisfactory, Additional District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Aijaz Abdullah Saraf today chaired a meeting of the concerned departments in Dak Bungalow here in order to take a stock of the status of online public grievances.

While addressing on the occassion, ADDC urged the grievance pertaining departments for special focus on fast track and satisfactory public grievance redressal mechanism.

The ADDC urged the departments to take their assignments as challenge and work with dedication and show dynamic attitude in redressing the public grievances besides providing of satisfactory response to the concerned.

He urged the officers to bring about visible change on ground in each sector on gross root level. He directed them to pay special attention for the satisfactory response to the public grievances.

The meeting also discussed some important issues related to overall developmental scenario besides hassle free implementation of welfare and developmental schemes.

In a meanwhile, a grievance cell has already been established in DC office Baramulla in which online and telephonic public grievances are responded by pertaining departments.

Assistant Commissioner Revenue Baramulla, Mohammad Rafiq Lone,  SDMs, heads of various departments, besides other concerned functionaries attended the meeting.
