Assistant Director FCS & CS, Baramulla on Thursday directed all the filling stations (petrol/diesel) owners not to issue the fuel in plastic bottles or cans to customers.

In an order copy issued, the Assistant Director Food, Civil supplies and Consumer Affairs Baramulla had directed all the filling stations (petrol/diesel) owners not to issue the fuel in plastic bottles or cans to customers.

The official has also directed them to report stock,sale and distribution status to the office on a daily basis through official mail (baramulafcscat@outlook.com), reads the order copy.

“Any non compliance of orders shall initiate strict action,” it added.

Pertinent to mention here, that rumors of many Petrol, diesel outlets across Kashmir are facing fuel shortage, which leads to panic buying of fuel while as the Divisional Commissioner P K Pole categorically rejected the reports and said that there is no shortage of fuel in Kashmir.
