Only a day ahead of meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the mainstream political parties are holding meeting with its senior leaders from the Jammu and Kashmir respectively.
During the morning hours a delegation of Ex-MLAs from Kashmir and Jammu region comprising of Ex MLA Sajad Kichloo, Ex MLA Ali Mohammad Sagar, Ex-MLA Khalid Mujeeb Soharwardi,
Ex MLA Ajay Saltrola , T.S Wazir , Ex MLA Javid Ahmed Raina , Davindar Singh Rana, Ratan Lal Gupta and Sunil Dhar arrived at the Gupkar residence of NC party patron Dr Farooq Abdullah.
Sources privy to CNS said that the meeting has been held in order to discuss the demands to be put forth before PM Narendra Modi.
“The meeting is to acquaint party leaders about the aims and objectives of meeting with PM Narendra Modi and suggestions are also sought from them to be discussed in a meeting with PM” a senior NC leader told CNS on condition of anonymity.
On the other hand senior PDP leader Nayeem Akhtar reached Gupkar residence of former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti only days after he was set free from house arrest.
It is pertinent to mention that on Wednesday evening both Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti will fly to Delhi to take part in a meeting with Narendra Modi on Thursday i.e. June 24. (CNS)
