Keeping in view the latest stringent omicron measures, All Jammu and Kashmir Hajj Umrah Tour Operators association ( AJKHUTOA) has decided not to undertake Umrah groups for a time being.

As per Kashmir News Service (KNS), With the resumption of Umrah pilgrimage and the latest outbreak of omicron variant of COVID19, Saudi Arabia has been constantly changing the protocols and guidelines for the pilgrimage.

With the new protocols being followed pertaining to omicron variant AJKHUTOA has decided to stop the registration for new umrah aspirants for time being.

Notably, many countries including Malaysia has suspended Umrah flights from January 08 after the detection of 50% omicron variant cases among umrah pilgrim returnees. (KNS)
