Apni Party president and former minister Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Monday mocked PDP chief over her statement that “everything will be brought back to J&K with interest”, saying Mehbooba enough knows what she can bring back to Jammu and Kashmir.
“Mehbooba Ji is enough mature. She knows well what she can bring back to J&K”, Bukhari told KNS.
“I don’t want to speak sweet and bitter for Mehbooba Mufti. What she did in past and what she can do in times to come, she should introspect at this point of time. She should avoid telling lies to innocent people of J&K”, he said.
To a query, he replied that all mainstream political parties are obviously “centrally sponsored teams”. “We are connected with New Delhi and so centrally sponsored teams of theirs. Mehbooba Ji is also centrally sponsored team of New Delhi. If she dubs others as CST, does it mean she is sponsored by neighboring country”, he said.
On tussle between Mayor SMC and his opponent corporators in SMC, Bukhari said I personally don’t like our corportors indulge in cheap comments. “Politicians should give right direction to the society. The SMC associates should avoid hurling abuses to each other. We have not put our sisters and mothers for abuses and mistreat. We should avoid dragging personal issues in official matters”, Bukhari added. (KNS)
