Discusses threat of drones attack, sticky bombs to yatri convoy, security forces

Srinagar, May 20 :

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar visited South Kashmir on Friday and chaired a meeting at Anantnag in connection with security preparation of annual Amarnath yatra 2022.

DIG South Kashmir Range Abdul Jabbar, SSP Anantnag, Kulgam and Awantipora participated in the meeting, officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO)

They said different types of threats specially threat of drones attack and sticky bombs to yatri convoy and security forces and appropriate security responses were discussed in details.

More focus was given on generating specific intelligence and conducting anti-militant operations on all yatra routes.
