Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum(JKCSF) has reacted to the latest order of the Jammu and Kashmir administration that employee’s alleged involvement in terrorism, subversion will lead to his termination or any kind of disciplinary action.
In a statement issued here Chairman JKCSF and Former President EJAC Abdul Qayoom Wani said employees are like the arms and legs of Govt machinary to implement policies of the government.While they should be treated as a family structure, instead, in Jammu and Kashmir they are being continually subjected to mental agony by issuing pscho creating orders. Making an employee a suspect or vulnerable for verification on the basis of family or relatives activities is unacceptable.
JKCSF has already raised this issue that for the verification and disciplinary action about employees there are already CSR rules enough to govern the issues.
These authoritative orders are against the interests of employees in general and are liable to affect the function in govt offices.
JKCSF vehemently urges upon the govt to rollback the order and provide a space to employees to work in a free and fair atmosphere under the norms of service rules.
