Jammu, Feb 11:

The Indian Army on Wednesday rejected as fake a video circulating on social media which claimed explosions in Baramulla and Poonch districts and alleged casualties to Army personnel.

Defence official told news agency, “One social media handle is circulating a video with claims of explosions in Baramulla and Poonch, alleging casualties to Indian Army personnel.”

The information being propagated is completely false and baseless. No such incident has occurred, and there are no casualties as claimed, corps, he said.

The Indian Army urges citizens to refrain from sharing unverified content and to rely only on official sources for authentic information, sources said.
