Handwara September 06 :

A special team of drug department headed by Assistant Drug Controller Baramulla Kupwara, Reema Gizala inspected two dozen medical shops at Handwara during which four licences were suspended.

Officials told Kashmir News Service (KNS), that the suspended license holders were not following the guidelines of drug department. “These chemist shops have not operational computerized billing system. NRX purchase record was also checked at the occasion,” officials told.

A senior officer of Drug Department said strict action will be taken against those chemists who are not following guidelines of Drug department. He further said that drug department has already informed all retailers and wholesalers that install CCTV and give Computerized bills to customers.
