Technical Glitch Leaves BA Students in Limbo, Officials Point to ITC Department Woes

Srinagar: In a distressing turn of events, students enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts program at Maulana Azad Urdu University find themselves in a state of uncertainty as their exam results remain conspicuously absent from the official website.
The affected students, hailing from diverse backgrounds and regions of Kashmir valley have been left grappling with the aftermath of a technical glitch that has thrown their academic pursuits into disarray.
Despite diligently submitting their fees online and diligently appearing for examinations in October 2023, the students of Batch 2018 have been met with frustration as their efforts seem to have gone in vain.
With their futures hanging in the balance, many have resorted to a frantic quest for answers, navigating bureaucratic hurdles and seeking redress for their grievances.
According to officials at the university’s Srinagar Regional Centre, the issue stems from a technical anomaly within the official website, which has failed to display the results of the affected students.
The backlog of unresolved cases continues to mount, with a significant number of students from the Kashmir Valley adding to the growing tally of aggrieved individuals.Expressing their dismay, a delegation of students approached Kashmir Images lamented the lack of progress in resolving the matter, citing the passage of over a month since the results were declared.
Despite their earnest appeals and the submission of requisite documentation, including fee receipts and applications for result clearance, the students find themselves caught in a bureaucratic quagmire.
In response to inquiries, the Regional Director of the university’s Srinagar branch acknowledged the persistent challenges faced by students, attributing the issue to problems within the Information Technology and Communication (ITC) department of the Directorate of Distance Education at MANUU.As the impasse drags on, students continue to grapple with uncertainty, their aspirations for academic advancement overshadowed by administrative hurdles and technological shortcomings.
Urgent action is needed to rectify the situation and restore confidence in the university’s ability to uphold its commitment to academic excellence and student welfare.When contacted Director MANUU Regional Centre Srinagar Dr Mohammad Ejaz Ashraf told SNS KASHMIR said that all issues regarding above has been resolved. “If any student has still any grievance let him come toy office and the case will be resolved,” he added.
