Acting on specific information, Police Station Kreeri received a tip-off on 18 November at around 1600 hours regarding illegal gambling activity in the orchards at Check Tappar.
A special team headed by SDPO Kreeri was immediately constituted. Acting swiftly, the team raided the spot and apprehended 12 gamblers engaged in playing cards. A total of ₹1,55,000/- stake money, playing cards, 02 Alto cars, and 01 scooty were seized from the location.
In this regard, FIR No. 87/2025 under Section 13 of the Gambling Act has been registered at Police Station Kreeri, and further investigation has been set into motion.
