BARAMULLA JUNE 19:

Bramulla police on Saturday claimed have arrested twelve persons and recovered eleven packets of heroin, arms and ammunition besides cash in North Kashmir’s  Baramulla district.


While divulging the details to SSP Baramulla flanked by DSP Headquarters said that a narco-militant module was busted by arresting 12 persons from whom 10 grenades, 4 pistols along with as many magazines and 20 rounds were recovered.This is apart from 11 packets of heroin, and cash worth 21.5 lakh rupees besides cheque amounting to one lakh rupees seized from them.
It is pertinent to mention that such modules are often busted in border areas due to presence of cross-border drug mafias.
