Jammu, November 14:
LG administration on Friday Placed under suspension Deputy Superintendent of police, days after he allegedly assaulted a Block Development Officer.
According to an order, a copy which lies with GNS the DySP Sunil Singh has been put under suspension with immediate effect.
The officer has been ordered to remain attached with police Headquarters during the period, the ordered added.
The order comes a few days after Singh allegedly assaulted and abused BDO when he was performing official election duty as nodal officer (transport incharge) for the by-election during the distribution of polling parties.(GNS)
