Tangmarg : The tight-knit Mir family of Hari-Watnu Tangmarg is in mourning the sad demise of renowned businessman and social activist Mohammad Maqbool Mir (affectionately known as Gul Sahib), a highly respected and beloved figure in Tangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Gul Sahib, known for his generosity, kindness, and community involvement, left for his heavenly abode earlier today, leaving behind a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him.As the news of his passing spread, expressions of grief and condolences poured in from all corners of the town.

Gul Sahib contributions to the community are being remembered by all, as he was widely regarded as a selfless individual who dedicated his life to the betterment of Hari-watnu Tangmarg and its residents.The Gul Sahib, a devoted family man, was the loving father of Nazir Ahmed Mir (MCO Group), Shabir Ahmed Mir, Zahoor Ahmed Mir, Irfan Ahmed Mir, and Safia Qadri.

His family, friends, and neighbors are profoundly saddened by the loss, cherishing the memories and the impact he had on their lives.According to family sources, funeral prayers Nimazi Jinazah was offered at the ancestral graveyard in which thousands of people participated. Later, Mohammad Maqbool Mir was laid to rest at the ancestral graveyard in Hari-watnu Tangmarg, a place that holds deep significance for his family. In the wake of his passing, locals have been sharing stories of Mr. Mir’s philanthropy, recounting the countless times he extended a helping hand to those in need. His unwavering commitment to the betterment of the community earned him widespread admiration and respect.

Mr. Mir’s departure has undoubtedly left a void that will be difficult to fill.
