In an atmosphere filled with warmth, pride, and creative fragrance, Government Boys Higher Secondary School Sopore unveiled its annual magazine “Sopur.”
More than just pages bound together, Sopur stands as a living testament to the dreams, reflections, and imagination of our young minds.
The magazine was released by Principal Mr. Mushtaq Sopori along with distinguished guests, who together lifted its cover like one unveils a new dawn of creativity.
The occasion blossomed with the graceful presence of the School Management and Development Committee, eminent writer Shahnaz Rashid Sahib, noted singer Shafi Sopori, and other honourable members from Sopore town—each adding a shade of inspiration to this vibrant palette of talent.
The event was further enriched by the presence of Principal GHSS Sopore Mr. Parvaiz Ahmad, Principal HSS Dangerpora Mr. Gh. Nabi Sumji, educationist Rafi Ahmad Masoodi, educationist Gh Qadir Kachru, Ex-Principal Gh. Rasool Dar, and noted writter Rashid Afaaq.
Adding more brilliance to the gathering were renowned literary figures Yousuf Sameem, Jeelani Kamraan, Ashiq Hussain Pukhta, and Gh Mohiuddin Saboon,Muhammed syed baba. Mushtaq ahmad shahKhursheed hakeem pubisherHoi’s of the Cluster whose presence elevated the spirit of the ceremony.
The hall felt alive with the collective presence of all the teaching and non-teaching faculty members of the institution, whose dedication sustains the academic soul of BHSS Sopore.
In his heartfelt message, the Principal appreciated the tireless efforts behind this creation, calling the magazine “a mirror of the institution’s spirit, and a window into the limitless skies our students aspire to touch.”
Every poem, every article, every illustration inside Sopur breathes with the emotions, curiosity, and brilliance of the students.
The distinguished guests too praised the initiative, admiring how the magazine captures both intellect and innocence, discipline and dream, knowledge and creativity.
As the event concluded, the hall echoed with gratitude
gratitude for the contributors,

and gratitude for the soulful journey of turning thoughts into pages.
With the unveiling of “Sopur,” BHSS Sopore once again illuminated the corridor of learning with the light of creativity.
