BARAMULLA AUGUST 09 :
On specific information regarding drug peddling, Baramulla Police under the supervision of Syed Sajad Hussain-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Baramulla assisted by Inspr. Waseem Jahangir, SHO PS Sheeri recovered 40 Kgs of Poppy Straw like substance from the house of Ghulam Nabi Dar S/O Mohd Shafi Dar resident of Paliharan Sheeri, District Baramulla. Case under NDPS Act registered and investigation set in motion, accused absconding.
Similarly, under the supervision of Syed Sajad Hussain-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Baramulla assisted by Inspr. Showkat Ahmad, SHO PS Baramulla & SI Mohd Ashraf, IC PP Delina arrested 03 drug peddlers namely Qazi Burhan S/O Qazi Ab Hameed, Qazi Asif S/O Qazi Dawood Ahmad both residents of Qazipora Delina and Imran Ahmad Sofi S/O Gh Qadir Sofi resident of Rawathpora Delina, District Baramulla at Behrampora and recovered 2 grams of Brown Sugar like substance from Qazi Burhan, 3 Kgs of Poppy Straw like substance from Qazi Asif & 2 Kgs of Poppy Straw like substance from Imran Ahmad Sofi. Case under NDPS Act registered and investigation set in motion.
