BARAMULLA JUNE 24 :
Baramulla Police under the supervision of sh. Hilal Khaliq-JKPS SDPO Tangmarg assisted by SI Ather Parvaiz, SHO PS Kunzer seized 04 Tippers & 02 Tractors and also arrested 06 persons at Pinjoora area of Kunzer. Similarly under the supervision of Sh Tariq Mahmood-JKPS assisted by SI Ghulam Jeelani, SHO PS Kreeri seized 02 tractors and also arrested 02 persons at Shrakwara Kreeri for being involved in extracting minerals illegally.
Violators were taking undue advantage of pandemic situation by extracting minerals illegally to the detriment of people health, the ecology and the revenue of the government.
