Baramulla Police under the supervision of Sh. Zaffar Mehdi-JKPS, ad, SHO PS Pattan & Inspr. Sarjan Ahmad, IC PP Mirgund at Pattan & Mirgund, seized 02 Tippers & 04 Tractors for being involved in extracting minerals illegally.
Similarly, under the supervision of Sh. Tariq Mehmood-JKPS, SDPO Kreeri assisted by Inspr. Nasir Ahmad, SHO PS Chandoosa & SI Ghulam Jeelani, SHO PS Kreeri at Chandoosa & Frastihar Kreeri, seized 03 Tractors for being involved in extracting minerals illegally.
Violators were taking undue advantage of pandemic situation by extracting minerals illegally to the detriment of people health, the ecology and the revenue of the government.
