Demand for a high-level investigation into the Mysterious death of Er Gurmeet Singh.
In the protest procession, a living example of the ancient traditional brotherhood of Baramulla was seen.

BARAMULLA, AUGUST 29:
After 5 days today, the body of Engineer Gurmeet Singh was recovered from the river Jhelum near Ganthmulla Baramulla barrage.
Thousands of people participated in the last rites of Engineer Gurmeet Singh, apart from senior civil and police officers, including Sikhs and Muslims.
Earlier today, a peaceful protest procession was taken out by the Gurdwara Prabandh Committee Baramulla from Gurdwara Chatti Padshahi Baramulla, which passed through various markets of the town and reached Gurunanak School on the National Highway, where a huge protest sit-in took place.
Thousands of men and women participated in the procession regardless of religion or nation. The protesting People were demanding that mysterious death of Er Gurmeet Singh should be investigated at a high level and the guilty persons should be punished.Protest ended peacefully.
Police have not issued any statement yet but the police officer told SNS that investigation is going on.
