Poonch, Sept 04 :

Body of Pakistan militant guide, who died yesterday in a hospital in Rajouri district, is likely to be returned to Pakistan on Monday after his post-mortem was conducted on Sunday in sub-district hospital Surankote of Poonch district.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the guide identified as Tabarak Hussain was captured by the Army during an infiltration bid on LoC in Jhanger sector August 21.

He said that he had sustained bullet injuries during the infiltration bid and was undergoing treatment at an army hospital in Rajouri district.

The official added that Tabarak died during treatment at the hospital on Saturday.

“His post-mortem was conducted today at SDH Surankote and body is likely to be handed over to Pakistan authorities on Monday,” he added.

Notably, Tabarak was earlier also arrested in the year 2016 when he made a similar infiltration attempt from the same area and was repatriated to Pakistan after a jail period of 26 months—(KNO)
