BSF airlift three patients from snow-bound Tangdhar Sector

Srinagar, January 09 ::

BSF on Sunday airlifted three patients including two ladies and a kid to the district headquarters Kupwara from snow-bound Tangdhar sector for medical attention.

Officials told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that on the request of district administration Kupwara, BSF evacuated three patients for medical attention from Tangdhar sector as the only road connecting the area with district headquarters remains closed.

Meanwhile, Lt. Colonel Rahesh said that the three evacuated patients include two women and a kid.

Notably, Tangdhar sector is among the three major areas close to the border areas that remain out of bounds for at least six months due to the heavy snowfall. (KNS)
