Baramulla: A boy drowned in a brook near Waterfall Namblan while taking bath. Body of the slain youth was fished out after hectic efforts of rescue and search teams on Tuesday.
Locals said Suhail Ahmad Bhat Son of Abdul Majeed Bhat residents of Badmulla Sheeri went missing from his home yesterday afternoon and didn’t return back till late evening.After extensive search, it was learnt that he was last seen heading towards waterfall Namblan.
Later, when locals reached the spot, they found his clothes and sleepers was near water fall Namblan and it was believed he might have drowned in the water fall.Later, locals were joined by teams from police, SDRF, Army in search and rescue operations. The body was found today.
