The Bukhari family of Hajibal, Baramulla, has suffered an irreparable loss with the sad demise of Saja Begum, wife of Late Syed Mohammad Akbar and grandmother of Joint Director Information Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari, Superintendent of Police (SP) Syed Sajad Bukhari, and senior journalist Syed Fayaz Bukhari.
According to family sources, Saja Begum passed away at her residence in Hajibal after a brief illness. She was laid to rest at her ancestral graveyard, where a large number of relatives, friends, and well-wishers participated in her funeral prayers to pay their last respects.
Her demise has evoked widespread grief across Baramulla and beyond. Relatives, acquaintances, and members of the media fraternity have extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
Expressing deep sorrow over her passing, Karamat Qayoom, Managing Editor of Shaharbeen News Service (SNS Kashmir), along with the entire team, conveyed their condolences and solidarity with the bereaved family.
