Burglars Fled with Gold, Cash worth 12 Lac Rupees
SRINAGAR , JULY 12:
Burglars decamped with one lac cash and gold worth twelve lacs in a burglary which took place two days at Basant Bagh area of Lalchowk Srinagar left a poor family completely devastated.
Sources told CNS that on Saturday afternoon robbers struck the house of Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, resident of Basant Bagh Lalchowk Srinagar, when nobody was at home as her wife accompanied the children to tuition.
“They stole gold worth eleven lacs, one lac cash and other items from the house” said house owner Aijaz Ahmad while talking to CNS.
He added that gold items consisted of rings, bracelets, necklaces and other items.
Meanwhile FIR has been registered in Kralkhud police station and further investigation is going on. (CNS)
