Urges admin to renew lease agreement to Gulmarg hoteliers

Jammu and Kashmir Hoteliers Club have re-elected Mushtaq A Chaya has its Chairman for the new term 2021-22.
In the elections held today at Hotel Radisson, the members unanimously re-elected and Mushtaq Chaya and extended his term for 2021-22.
Riyaz A Shahdad was elected as Sr. Vice Chairman, Amit Amla Jr Vice Chairman, Tariq Rashid Ghani as Secretary-General, Naseer Khan as Jt Secretary-General, Musadiq Shah Treasurer, Zahoor A Tramboo as Advisor.
Maximum members from the J&K Hoteliers Club including the members from Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonmarg Chapters also participated in the election for the office-bearers.
Speaking on the occasion, Chaya hailed the members for their support and reposing their faith in him.
He assured the members that he would work for the betterment of the hotel industry in particular and travel trade in general.
On the occasion, Chaya requested the administration to allow hoteliers at prime spots for the repairs and the renovations of their properties.
He also urged the LG administration for renewing the Land lease agreement of the hoteliers at tourist resorts like Gulmarg so that they can promote the hospitality sector without any hassle.
He also hailed the Tourism department for organising destination wise promotional programmes in the Valley and assured his full support for all the promotional activities within and outside Jammu and Kashmir.
On the occasion, Secretary-General thanked the members for electing the office bearers and assured full support to their members for taking up their issues with the higher authorities. (KNS)
