Srinagar, Aug 21 :

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday chaired a high-level meeting to review the relief and rehabilitation measures for people affected by the recent cloudbursts in Kishtwar and Kathua.

As per a post on X from the Office of J&K CM, Omar Abdullah emphasized the need for speedy assistance to the victims, early restoration of essential services, and long-term measures for safeguarding vulnerable areas from such calamities.

Officials from concerned departments attended the meeting and briefed the Chief Minister on the ongoing relief operations.
