The family of the late Nazar Bonyari, the esteemed writer, announces that condolences will be accepted at his ancestral home in Turkanjan Bunyar, Uri, on Sunday, February 25, 2024.
Nazar Bonyar, a celebrated and internationally acclaimed writer, passed away on February 20, 2024, in the afternoon at a hospital in Mumbai after a brief illness. He had traveled to Mumbai to visit his daughter. Despite the initial efforts to bring the deceased to native village Trikanjan Bonyarfor burial, adverse weather conditions made it challenging.
Consequently, the family decided to lay him to rest in Mumbai.
In honor of Nazar Bonyari Sahib’s memory, his family will be present at his ancestral home in Tirkanjan Bonyar, Uri, on Sunday, February 25, 2023, upon their return from Mumbai. Those wishing to offer their condolences and pay their respects are cordially invited to visit the family home on Sunday.
