Pulwama, Jul 12 :

A 5 kilogram gas cylinder fitted with fire crackers was defused on Chowdribagh-Litter road in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday, officials said here.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that on a specific information, Pulwama police along with 55 RR and CRPF 182 bn recovered a gas cylinder fitted with fire crackers weighing around 5 kgs was planted on Chowdribagh-Litter road to harm the security forces.

He said that as cylinder fitted was with firecrackers, a bomb squad disposal was called in to destroy it.

The official said that it was defused on spot without carousing any damage, while further investigation has been taken up—(KNO)
