BARAMULLA, JANUARY 12:

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla today chaired a meeting to review the ongoing progress of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in the district.

Emphasizing the mission’s significance in ensuring water accessibility, the DC directed the concerned engineers and officers to intensify efforts to meet the established targets.

During the meeting, it was informed that an impressive 82% of the mission’s target has been achieved so far, showcasing the dedicated work of the involved stakeholders. The DC commended the commitment of the team and stressed the importance of achieving the mission’s goals for the welfare of the community.

Expressing confidence in achieving further milestones, the DC urged sustained cooperation among all stakeholders. The mission’s success is seen as pivotal in realizing the broader goal of transforming lives through improved water access.

Sherpa emphasized the importance of continued dedication and teamwork to ensure the successful implementation of the JJM in the district.

Superintending Engineer Jal Shakti Department, Executive Engineers, and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
