SRINAGAR , JANUARY ,25 :

National Voters’ Day was marked here on Sunday with a ceremony that saw two Deputy Commissioners being honoured for their exceptional administrative contributions.

The event held at the Convention Centre, emphasized the critical role of the administrative machinery in reinforcing democratic processes.

In a notable segment of the programme, Deputy Commissioner of Samba, Ms. Ayushi Sudan (IAS), and Deputy Commissioner of Baramulla, Minga Sherpa (IAS), were formally felicitated. The honours were conferred on behalf of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha.

The ceremony recognized their dedicated service and effective administration, which have been instrumental in strengthening grassroots democratic institutions in their respective districts.

The function was attended by a gathering of senior civil and police officials, administrative staff, and other prominent dignitaries.
