Baramulla, May 31:

Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr. Syed Sehrish Asgar today convened a meeting of concerned authorities in her office Chamber in order to review the pace and position of construction works of  Government medical College Baramulla being taken by the executive agency JKPCC.

On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner took a detailed appraisal of several aspects associated with the GMC during which she was appraised by Principal GMC Baramulla Prof Dr Ruby Reshi about the current progress of works.

The DC issued strict directions to the Deputy General Manager, JKPCC to abide by the timeline of completion  of all the works  and said that no laxity would be tolerated. She emphasized upon the executing agency to work in double shift with added zeal and synergy so that target is achieved well within the stipulated timeframe.

Moreover, the Deputy Commissioner asked Principal GMC to have a close coordination with the executive agency for speeding up the pace of work.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr
Zahoor Ahmad Raina,Joint Director Planning M Yosuf Rather and other concerned officers were also present in the meeting.
