1276 Pilgrims of Baramulla to Perform Hajj this Year

BARAMULLA, JUNE, 1:

To facilitate the intending Hajj pilgrims of Baramulla district, the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar in presence of Assistant Commissioner Revenue Peerzada Mumtaz Ahmad today distributed Hajj related documents including passports to selected Hajj Pilgrims at Dak Bungalow here.

After distributing passports, the DC assured Hajj Pilgrims that the district administration has finalized all the necessary arrangements with regard to the smooth conduct of Hajj 2023. She reiterated district administration’s endeavour to facilitate the Pilgrims with every facility.

Interacting with the Pilgrims, the DC congratulated them for the Holy Hajj-2023 and urged them to pray for the well-being and prosperity of the people of the district.

Pertinently, 1276 pilgrims across Baramulla district will proceed to the annual Hajj from Srinagar International Airport from June 7 for which two flights shall operate on each day.

On the occasion, the DC asked pilgrims to report hours before the flight departure time at Hajj House Srinagar to complete the necessities of customs and immigration on time so they do not have to face any inconvenience.
