In order to take a first hand appraisal of the post fire situation, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar today paid visit to Old Town Baramulla where she  met the fire victims whose residential houses were gutted in a recent massive fire incident.

Worth to mention that several families got affected in a massive fire incident on 07th of this Month.

On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner was apprised about the fire victims in which 21 families have got affected due to massive fire incident.

The Deputy Commissioner had round of the gutted houses and interacted with the affected families.

On the occasion, the DC was apprised about the condition about the post fire situation as being faced by the affected families.

The Deputy Commissioner provided an immediate relief of Fifty thousand Rupees to every affected family.

Pertinently, the district administration had provided immediate assitance with tents and blankets to the victims for their temprorary rehabilitation.

The Deputy Commissioner assured every possible support from district administration to the victims of fire.
