In an effort to ensure the efficient and timely implementation of the District Capex Budget for 2024-25, the District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, chaired a comprehensive review meeting today at Dak-Bungalow, Baramulla.

The meeting focused on assessing both the physical and financial progress of ongoing developmental projects in the district.

The Joint Director Planning Baramulla, Javed Ahmad, delivered a detailed PowerPoint presentation, providing a sector-wise analysis of project achievements, financial expenditures and the status of various ongoing projects.

The presentation highlighted key metrics, including funds allocated, utilization rates, physical targets achieved and challenges encountered during project execution.

This data-driven approach helped guide productive discussions among the officials.

The DDC emphasized the need for timely project execution, optimal utilization of funds, and adherence to quality standards in all sectors. He also stressed the importance of inter-departmental coordination and directed officers to resolve any bottlenecks hindering project progress. Additionally, the DDC urged officials to expedite the clearance of pending bills to ensure smooth project continuation.

DDC Minga Sherpa directed all department heads to prioritize the removal of bottlenecks, speed up the implementation of ongoing projects, and ensure timely completion of tasks. He emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts across departments and urged officials to work towards achieving the set goals for the fiscal year to benefit the people of Baramulla.

Officers from departments, including R&B,RDD, Hydraulic, KPDCL, ICDS, Education, and others, provided updates on their respective sectors. The DDC reiterated the need to enhance monitoring mechanisms to ensure transparency, accountability, and efficient execution of developmental projects.
