BONIYAR 14 December 2022,
DDC Boniyar Mohammad Ismail Khan,BDC Boniyar Bilal Ashiq Mir, Sarpanch Boniyar, Alongwith Other PRI Members Hold Sit-in Strike, in Boniyar in Sub Division Uri for third consecutive day in front of Tehsil office Boniyar, to seek timely redressal of various demands of the areas falling in Sub Division Uri.
The agitated public representatives have been demanding revocation of new electricity bills tarrif, Install 50 MVA at Lower jehlum ( which was already sanctioned and unfortunately installed in rawalpora Srinagar, Install 10.6 MVA at Boniyar reciving station, deputation of permanent officers including BMO, Tehsildar and BDO besides establishment of Fire Service Station at early as possible.
They alleged that the people of Boniyar have been ignored by the authorities, due to which the inhabitants of the areas suffer badly.
