BARAMULLA , OCTOBER ,19 :
A delegation of Traders Federation Baramulla led by Er Tariq Ahmad Mughloo on Wednesday had a detailed meeting with J&K Lt Governor Manoj Sinha at Dak Banglow Baramulla. In the meeting Federation delegation apprised Lt Governor about the issues pertaining to Baramulla and the Traders. Federation also conveyed Lt Governor about the non availability of parking areas in the town which creates the traffic mess on daily basis. The Lt Governor was also apprised about the unhealthy potable water supplied to inhabitants of the town and demanded that fresh schemes should be introduced in the town as the old filteration plant has outlived its life. The Federation also raised the issue of old district hospital Baramulla and requested the Lt Governor to convert the building into vibrant health institute which will prove benifical for the people of town and demanding that portion of National Highway from Nanak Bhawan to General Bus stand should be handed over to Roads and Buildings department for regular maintainence.
Lt Governor gave patient hearing to the demands highlighted by Federation members and assured that all the issues will be resolved on priority. The meeting was also attended by J&K chief secretary Ashok Mehta, DDC Chairperson, Safina Baig, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, DIG and SSP Baramulla and other senior officers of the administration.
