Srinagar, Oct 19: The Jammu and Kashmir government has suspended Ms. Naheed Jabeen, Deputy Director of Horticulture Planning and Marketing, over allegations of ineligible appointment. According to the suspension order (No. 486 – JK (APD) of 2024), she has been placed under suspension pending an inquiry led by Vikas Sharma, Director Horticulture (P&M).The controversy surrounding Jabeen’s appointment stems from questions about her qualifications for the Assistant Grading and Marketing Officer (AGMO) post.

An exclusive report by SNS Kashmir highlighted the demands for a thorough investigation into her two-decade tenure, suggesting irregularities in her recruitment.
