Instructs all stakeholders to follow Covid SOPs to prevent third wave

Gulmarg, Jan 11: A meeting was held at the Gulmarg Golf Club with the stakeholders and senior officials of various departments under the chairmanship of Director Tourism Kashmir Dr G N Itoo to organize and continue the Winter Games at Gulmarg with strict Covid protocol.
An official said that the meeting also discussed the issue of making Covid testing of winter sports players mandatory and other issues to buzz the different winter sport activities in different categories.
He said that the director instructed the officers to ensure that the children participating in the Winter Games are vaccinated, tested and follow Covid SOPs.
“He also instructed the children to follow Covid SOPs during their stay, whether in hotels or other accommodations.”
The meeting was attended by CEO GDA Dr Zahoor Raina, president Winter Games Association Mohammad Abbas Wani, AD Tourism Gulmarg Javeed-ul Rehman, SHO Gulmarg and other officials.
