Baramulla, 02 July :
Amid the rising of drug menace in valley an awareness rally was carried out here on north Kashmir’s Baramulla on Saturday against drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
The rally was organised by District drug department in collabortion with Baramulla chemist &Druggist Association and whole sale distributors Association of Baramulla.
The motive of rally was to aware people about the ill effects of drugs.
The rally was taken from Criyapa Park to Drug De-Addiction centre passing through Azad Gunj.
During the rally the participants were seen holding placards and banners displaying a message that say no to drugs.
The rally was led by Assistant Drug controller Baramulla, Kupwara Reema Gazala in presence of DCO Baramulla Gowhar Mushtaq, DCO Kupwara Yosuf Mohiuddin, DCO Pattan Feroz Ahmad Bhat,DCO Sopore Dr Shabir Ahmad Bhat, and Police officials.
